Get Involved with the Lafayette County Literacy Council
Share the joy of reading! If you would like to volunteer to help someone with his or reading skills, call the Council office at (662) 234-4234, fill out the form below, or print out (PDF) the form and return it to our office.
Here are some of our volunteer opportunties:
  • Tutor an adult in reading or basic education
  • Practice English skills with a non-native speaker
  • Work with youth in a family literacy program
  • Read to preschool children
  • Serve on the Council's board of directors
